Those of you who know me know that I don’t follow the herd. In fact, Miller Felpax, a leader in the railway industry, is a trend-setter, not a follower. We’ve consistently led with patents, quality and service. We are also the premier distributor of railway components.

Now, we’ve taken the next step in communicating more effectively with other industry leaders, vendors and customers. With our new website scheduled for release shortly, we will be using social media networking to build communities of suppliers and customers. This isn’t because social media is the new buzz word, but because it makes good business sense for us and for our partners.

Miller Felpax, which does business in over 100 countries, has joined YouTube (http://www.Youtube.com/MillerFelpax), and Twitter (http://www.Twitter.com/MillerFelpax) in a big way and is inviting all those interested in connecting with us to join our communities, including commenting on this blog.

We are already providing the best products and services to customers within our network. Now, we can use social media to communicate with other industry leaders and vendors, as well.  Our plan is to share some great content, including educational videos, first-to-know product updates, support information, and more, all of which will only be available to those within the online networks.

I look forward to seeing you online very soon,
Steve
